I'm not saying it's the better anime, it just had more impact on me personally. Actually, if I ever end up making YouTube videos, I was thinking about doing a comparison of the 2002 and 2006 versions of Kanon. It's a really short time to have two different adaptations and the differences in quality is staggering.
