2021-06-09 20:37:32 +0000 UTCThe thing about eren that makes him so hard to trust and yet possibly the one with the most sense is just that he's the oldest and knows the most if you consider memories. Keep in my he has three different Titans and one of them is the founding Titan so it makes you wonder what he knows. The show makes you sympathesize with Armin and the gang but "just talking it out" or any conventional war is clearly not going to work. The eldians would just be euthanized that much earlier.

It may have been out of a desire to help eldians and zeke himself, but the end result is the same. Everyone can learn from what Shasa’s dad was saying last episode: don’t count on your children to solve your problems by forcing them to fight your battles.

And then forced to make a terrible choice because of those parents (even tried to stop them and save them). Eren and Zeke's dad Grisha was kind of a really really shitty parent.

Definitely parallels to situations happening today and throughout history. Everyone is the protagonist of their own story.
