I swear, every single time 4th Gear is shown, I get just as pumped as the first time it was revealed in this episode. Though it really makes me wonder... how fucking strong were those animals that Rayleigh left Luffy with? They were strong enough that Luffy had to invent this badass new form, so how strong were the strongest on that island?

Huh.. I never even noticed that. At first I thought it was a mistake by the anime department, but in the manga you can see Luffy wearing the sandals in the chapter after this one, so maybe Oda just forgot Luffy took them off... (Though through the fight his feet are moving so fast to make him able to fly, so you don't get clear sight at them most of the time.)

I love Gear Fourths look. The head looks similar to the Nightmare Luffy look from Thriller Bark, and the red tint to the haki is a nice touch. It's a mixture of silly and badass, which is really One Piece in a nutshell

There are 2 things oda did with gear fourth that I love he named it somthing like bounce man to keep us guessing if that's it to it and oda gave a lil foreshadowing of what's to come in later arcs with the python chasing doffy

You can tell when the studio is saving up their budget for a big scene, after a lot of fluff and filler sections (people yelling for the 50th time that the birdcage is closing heh) it's all so they can really let loose on key scenes like this one.

when you get to the arch after dressroa there are some things i wanna explain you that have been foreshadowed in the story even since robins backstory and the lore of the one piece world and how the celstia dragons came to be and who controlled the world before the world government info like that ill send a big message to you when you get to that arch after dressrosa.

Law: Finally I will see Doflamingo fall Cavendish: this is gonna be an epic battle and we have the best view *Luffy sends Doflamingo to the other side of the island* Law and cavendish: .......................OH COME ON!!!!!!!

Considering the most recent manga chapter and the accompanying powerup hype, I'm anticipating waching this episode :D It's gonna be a good one :)
