Why do I get the feeling that 4th Gear is going to get you bouncing in your seat? Seriously though, there are 4 things that you should never do around Luffy: Fuck with his friends. Come between him and food. Come between him and adventure. And say you're going to be King of the Pirates. Doffy has done 3/4, several times. I almost feel sorry for him.

This episode has a very big significance and quite a coincidence. Exactly 6 Years Ago TODAY, the chapter for this episode (Chapter 783) was released. Exactly 6 years ago today! I remember reading this chapter during quite a tough time in my own life, I was going through a lot of emotions and depression. When I finished reading this chapter (783) it helped dig deep down inside and persevere, similarly to Luffy against Doflamingo. And then we all had to wait 2 weeks before seeing the actual transformation LOL! Not only does Gear Fourth has an important significance to me, it’s very significant turning point for the One Piece story. Everything from here on out is the start of the endgame and this transformation is that catalyst. Ironically enough, today’s new One Piece chapter 1010 has very big significance for Luffy. I just find the timing in all this to either be pure luck or destined to happen. At this point you can make quite an argument that Luffy is one of the greatest main characters in all of anime. TLDR: I’m just very thrilled you finally made it to Gear 4th!
