It's very easy to be swept up into the storytelling and characters without losing touch with reality...well, for most of us. Even when with kind people like a friend's family who'll accept you it can feel like intruding on their family moments. If your relationship with your parents is bad enough you start to wonder if there's something wrong with you and if you even deserve to be part of something like that. that feeling is doubled when you're a kid. hits a bit close to home lol
