Ok not that i disagree on the clever use of characters and their direct and sometimes indirect connections, (like Law and Sengoku) but there are literal dozens of wasted characters in this show lol. Its one of its greatest faults. Literally almost every villain in the Grand Line, and especially pre-Grand Line was tossed once Luffy was done with them
