The One Eyes Owl is terrifying. It's practically the boogeyman for the CCG. It's also the only SSS rated Ghoul we've seen so far. For comparison Jason, Gourmet, and Rize are S rated

Either way there are still a lot of great character moments and fights Throughout season 2

Gotta make sure they're feeling EVERYTHING, after all. So Tokyo Ghoul's Jason is much more fucked up than Friday the 13th's Jason. At least Friday the 13th's Jason just kills you and that's it. THIS guy wants to make sure you're alive and wide awake while he sticks needles in your eye, a centipede in your ear and cuts off your fingers/toes.

2021-01-05 21:45:52 +0000 UTCok, it's been a while since I've read the manga, but from what I remember here's some stuff I know that was cut out. first those aren't scars the kid has, they're ribbon stitching he did himself, there's a scene in the manga of him explaining it to Amon, he takes a need and passes the ribbons over the lightest layer of his skin for fashion, also they cut out a scene of him slashing some people and biting a cops ear off for fun. the doves had to pay compensation. Kaneki has high speed regeneration since he's a ghoul, so as you can see Jason's cutting his toes and fingers off for fun, there's still trauma caused to the regenerated nails though, so they've turned black and are suffering necrosis I think, that or blood is caught under the nails. also the Gourmet took Touka's advice about eating himself after their fight, so he ate his own arm to survive his injuries, it regenerated obviously lol, he thought he tasted exquisite

2021-01-05 14:32:02 +0000 UTCI forgot how this show kicks things to 100 towards the end here. It's a damn shame that the anime failed to do the original story justice, given that its a great story. Hopefully we'll get a reboot continuation, much like how Full Metal Alchemist got with the 2009 version aka Brotherhood.
