JUST ONE SEASON OF "TOKYO GHOUL"!

You know, I started reading the manga myself and I already see several differences in the story telling so far. Like AOT but in a bad way.

Well if youre expecting it to make sense of the 2nd anime only season then yeah otherwise i heard the 3rd seasons biggest sin is they try to adapt over 100 chapters into 12 episodes

The ending of the manga was crazy tho i had wanted to see that fight animated as well instead they just hyped it up and then never gave it to us when the original source material actually does show it

Its because Tokyo Ghoul Root was an anime only continuation that ended with a massive cliffhanger teasing a fight that actually did happen in the manga then TG RE just ignores it and acts as if we all read the manga and continues on from there i feel at the very least the anime only season should've showed the fight

Many, myself included, feel that Season 2 cheapens the beautifully constructed Season 1, making it go from an amazing anime, to an okay one. It is not that it is unenjoyable, it is just that it would have been better for it to end after Season 1, for overall impression.

Once he gets to the last episode, someone should give him a rundown of what happens during the rest of the TG and :re manga. Really fantastic story, it’s a shame that it didn’t get adapted even close to properly.

I dont get why ppl are against it, if you havent read the manga you dont really miss anything, the fights are cool, and it gives and ending. Thers also no info on any reboot either, so i dont really see the harm, but i guess ppl feel strongly about it

Lol ikr, I was completely lost and it seemed like all the emotional investment in the characters was just recycled for another plotline.

i watched and read the manga and to say its one of the best ever is quite a stretch, i understand that's subjective but still....

Season 2 is better but season 1 is amazing, assuming you haven’t watched it since u don’t know, give it a watch if so

Basic common knowledge seems like a stretch ive heard some good things about it moreso the manga and S2 but thats very high praise

i know you probably have a line up already but an anime i would MASSIVELY recommend is Noragami, its amazing, pretty popular so im sure people would love to see your reaction and its basically common knowledge that its one of the best anime ever. even if your line up is 100 long id definitely reccomend puttinh noragami on

Yeah they did. The Gourmet arc was moved up, Kaneki hallucinating Rize happens earlier, and they cut out scenes of Kaneki training and studying how to fight.

Didn't they add a bunch of anime-only stuff in season 1 also? And started changing storylines even before the end of season 1.

I know the chances are slim it'll happen any time soon, but honestly it is better to wait for the chance of them rebooting the anime. The anime does a very bad job of adapting the manga after season 1, they rush through to much, and it feels like they're scared to do some of the darker elements at times.

Any ideas on what’s coming after Tokyo Ghoul? If not I recommend either Parasyte, Food Wars: Final Season, Shield Hero, or Fire Force Attack On Titan has returned so that would be cool to fit in once the new season is over. Also Jujutsu Kaisen is another popular ongoing series that would be cool to add later on once it’s first season finishes. Just some suggestions to peak interest.
