ALL THAT SHADOW BOXING FOR NOTHING! - One Piece #638

Comments

Did you see Pickle Ricks daughter at 8:22 lmao

Jake from SF

While a shockwave is powerful the problem is the energy will diminish as it travels while Luffy can keep it going and Luffy doesn't need an hour to as destructive which he absolutely can be. The King Punch is strong to ordinary people, but a Yonko could tank that easily. Honestly the King Punch is pathetic compared to what we've seen others pull off.

The Abyssal Drink

Perhaps, but can Luffy do shockwaves? Didn't think so! Luffy can only damage the specific thing he hits with his limited arms so shockwaves are much more damage effective. Also, Barto blocked it so we don't really know how destructive it would have been if it did it's job properly. Fortress wrecking appearantly.

Ba-Dum-Tiss! :-D

Yea, that was an impressive pee!! :-D

Bartomelo is a force what a. Performance

Huh, Barty Boy seems to have eaten MC Hammer's devil fruit. "You can't touch this"

Miasimon

So Bartolomeo finished the round with no damage and he even managed to empty out his apparently gigantic bladder. Somehow he ended up in better condition than when he started the match.

Mighty Snake

To be honest, Luffy's Grizzly Magnum seemed way more powerful than the "King Punch" that Elizabello II used.

If not for Luffy being in Block C this would have probably been my favorite out of the 4 blocks.

That round was REALLY entertaining! 😊

Elizabello II has to warm up for an entire hour before he can deliver his punch, so he did most of his warm-up prior to coming on stage. They probably miscalculated the length of the first match to some degree, seeing as Jesus Burgess took out everyone way too quickly in block A. To compensate, the strategist planned to stall during their match with his alliances and betrayals.

Aeco

i feel like King Izabello would be a good match for a logia fruit since he has his "yonko staggering" punch and couldnt be touched, hed probably rule the first half of the grandline where there arent any hakiusers

MWS

Definite heel.

I am dying for the episode that reveals just what barto is.

I got a street fight scheduled tomorrow..with the knowledge i now possess theres no way i will lose...ill just cross my fingers and stay still

The amount of betrayal and twist-n-turns in Block B was immense. First Eggman/Dagama uses fodder characters to fight against others and then betrays them at the end, only to be thrown out by Blue-Gilly, who in return gets blown out with rest of the fodder by King Punch. And Bartolomeo wins by knocking the King out with his ability which saved him just moment earlier. (Also against Hack and Bellamy)

One Piece does have a very long history of leaving people with cliffhangers.. πŸ˜…
