2020-12-28 17:09:39 +0000 UTCA bit of additional info: The start of this series takes place in 1990, with Ippo vs. Miyata and Ippo subsequently joining the gym taking place in May 1990. So there may be some outdated boxing/sports knowledge, but it is appropriate for the time. I think the manga timeline is somewhere in 1998/99 by now, but I honestly haven't read it in a long time, so I'm not sure. Just thought you might want to know when this takes place.๐
