To be fair, Luffy's backstory showed that his was pretty bad in a fight when he had it. However he trained and trained and eventually mastered it. I believe few Devil Fruits are awesome right after consumption. Just look at what happened when Tashigi and Smoker switched bodies. She was able to use his abilities, but she had to focus and it where nowhere near Smokers level of usage.

Can you think of any devil fruit that's more fitting for a string puller like Doflamingo, than the string string fruit?

SPOILER: There's no indication that Doffy could hurt Kaido, and Ch. 1001 made a point to emphasize his speed, so I would guess Doffy'd lose in an instant, once Kaido determines that Doffy is not a worthy opponent (that's kinda his MO: wait and see if his opponent can injure him). And considering how superior Luffy was in G4 compared to Doffy, and that Kaido 1shot that version of Luffy... no chance. I wouldn't even call it a fight.😅

Doflamingo only has the one devil fruit ability like everybody else, but he uses it very VERY creatively.

I swear, this arc really showcases some of the most terrifying devil fruit powers.... One that turns people into toys and makes people forget them, strings that and control others like puppets or any number of other things, Law's an existential surgeon.... And then the one you haven't gotten to yet that I won't mention....
