2021-01-16 01:53:38 +0000 UTCI really like Murai's Mom's voice in the Sub a lot better than in the Dub, now that I've seen both. In the Dub she sounded way too innocent. Which really doesn't fit her character, she's one tough cookie. Which is pretty much established when she first meets Onizuka. She demands to know what he's doing and then kicks him in the balls. The Sub voice has it's sweet and tender moments, so you believe she could be someone's mother. But it also has that tonal shift when she has to act tough.
