Hey Curtis, this is kind of important. GTO is the rare anime where you should not skip any of the filler episodes. The anime makes enough important changes from the manga that they are generally accepted as separate canons.

2021-01-14 14:33:00 +0000 UTCOnizuka wanted to teach in high school, but the chairwoman sent him to teach the third year of junior high (this school is a combined school with junior high and high school). He did teach in high school in the first episode, but that was at a different place. Also Yoshikawa (gamer dude) is so brave for doing what he did. I've seen this comment before about what he did and it's such a good one - "All it takes is that one ray of light in someone's life for them to do anything to keep it"
