Would've been torturous. Also, if you needed something fun to watch for the channel, Nuxtaku did some really good videos on the Seven Deadly Sins that you're at just the right point to watch. Full of Philosophy and Memes in equal measure, since it is Nux. Stand outs videos are How to introduce an Overpowered Badass - Escanor, How to overpower an Overpowered Character Escanor vs Estarossa, Tragic Philosophy of the Overpowered King - The Mind of Escanor, and The Philosophy of Meliodas' Training Arc. They're a couple years old at this point, but it's Nux, so it's good for some mindless, yet somehow very deep fun.

Fun to note, because of Estarossa's commandment of benevolance and the fact that they are subject to their own commandments, it would have been truly impossible for him to kill Meliodas with hate in his heart. So as fucked up as it was, his comment about how he loved Meliodas was actually true.

At least to me Escanor never came off as a jerk or annoying like most people with a superiority complex just because there’s a lot of merit to his words when Escanor thinks something to be beneath him power wise. He feels more like he’s stating a fact than his opinion
