You know, for the Holy Knights having no days off for the foreseeable future, Jericho, GUila, and GIlthunder sure were acting pretty casually. Gil had the excuse that he was setting his affairs in order before leaving to repair the damage he's done across the country, but what's their excuse? I still remember I laughed so hard the first time I saw Gowther just hop up, reattach his head, and move around like it wasn't a problem.

Even though I rewatched it, I still cried when the most powerful badass took the blow for Meliodas and Elizabeth. It was such a relief when Hawk came back, neither Heaven Nor Hell can contain the Fury, that is, Hawk.

btw not sure if you caught it but Vanya Ale, the drink meliodas gave gilthunder, is the same ale made by that town that gilthunder cut off from their water supply in episode 2 by planting his sword in the ground, just a cool nod that shows gilthunder is finally allowed to act the way he wants

Glad to hear you are doing the Signs of Holy War. Some people will say to skip it, but honestly it fills in some things story-wise and is a great transition into season 2.
