My understanding, is that Hendrickson can heal the wounds but the stamina used to do so, doesn't come back, meaning he can't do so indefinitely and will become weaker each time he is forced to.

2020-11-17 14:12:17 +0000 UTCIt seems silly, but up til this point I hadn’t considered what Ban’s immorality really meant. Even in other series, immortality is usually the kind that gives indefinite lifespan but doesn’t save you from being killed. Ban literally can’t die no matter how long he lives or how hard he tries. Knowing that he’ll outlive everyone he cares about-all without the person he loves, really must be a living hell. It’d be enough to drive anyone more than a little crazy.
