Let's be real. We didn't need to see the video to know EXACTLY what curtis was looking at in this picture. I'm so glad that we got to see this one today. it would've sucked to have to wait until monday because Ireally love this episode. Gil's backstory and face turn, Merlin's reveal, Elizabeth reunitning with her father, Merlin's reveal, Ban at the end and Merlin's reveal all in one. The only reason it's not my personal favorite episode of the seven deadly sins is because of certain episodes in season 2, but we can't talk about those except on very sunny days. So, the demon Meliodas killed that prompted Gil's turn was one that Vivain had modified to be effectively immune to lightning, meaning Gil had no chance against it. He couldn't save Margaret himself, so he had to put his trust in a magic charm from ten years ago. Thankfully, it's a good charm. Even on his worst day, Meliodas can eradicate anything Vivian can create with a touch. There was also a second demon that was watching Gilthunder, taking the form of the crow that you always see in any scene with him through the series, but this one gets destroyed in the crossfire of Gil unloading a decade of resentment and anger onto Hendrickson. I can't wait until next week so we can get into the end of season 1, and hopefully start the OVAs.
