Don't worry about it. I've already told him I'm going to put D-Frag on hold for a few months and sponsor the rest of Kokoro Connect, when I heard you didn't have plans to. It does, in fact, continue and wrap up the story. The last four episodes are my favorite arc of the series, personally. You should definitely check them out if you haven't seen them!

Yui and Aoki who've been kind of an auxiliary pair, finally make some progress in their relationship. That hug between the two is such a huge step. Iori's home life finally gets taken care of. It's all amazing. Plus it has so many cute and funny moments. My favourite being the parts where Inaba and Taichi play substitute parents to the rest of the group.
