For example it is a popular belief in Japan that if you dream of Mount Fuji, a Hawk and an Eggplant after going to sleep on New Years, you'll have a good year. Also the Kotatsu is a table with a heater fixed under it and blankets on the sides to keep the heat in. You've seen one before in Konosuba when Kazuma builds one and refuses to leave it. That's sort of a running joke with Kotatsu. On the subject of Zodiac signs, I myself was born in the year of the Water Rat 1996. Apparently that means that I'm shrewd, conservative and destined for good luck, achieving great things in my middle age and peace in my old age.

2020-11-03 17:30:18 +0000 UTCAlso 1 thing about the kotatsu, you are right in saying there toasty, but in a diffrent way. Kotatsu also have a heater on the underside of it which makes it warm. And I can never leave my electric blanket in the winter so I know how it must feel trying to leave it.

2020-11-03 17:06:22 +0000 UTCThough I don't care much about zodiacs funnily enough just the other week my friends and I searched ours up. Mine was the year of the dragon (YES!) And apparently there are sub categories like the nature of it ( wood, fire, earth, metal and water) and I was metal dragon (born in 2000) so I can't complain about the coolness of it. Got the zodiac animal i wanted and 2nd nature i wanted (Fire was 1st) so I feel I got lucky in that regard, especially since I couldn't choose lol.
