Yeah what Luffy has definitely isn't natural, also, i find Curtis' mockery and disregard of the energy steroids slightly hypocritical, he's had no issue with Chopper using the rumble ball to gain his power, and the rumble is also basically a steroid drug, only difference is one affects the devil fruit and the other affects physical strength. Realistically speaking anybody whos eaten a devil fruit is basically just eternally juicing, Haki is a perfect example of a purely natural ability
