The Alpha timelime actually ends in a Sern Dystopia because of Sernβs involvement like we saw in the original Steins gate, while the Beta timeline is the one that ends in WWIII due to Russia and America, like Okabe said in this episode. So Sern hasnβt been involved in Beta to cause that dystopia as far as we know so far. Just wanted to clarify the two timelines for you with the info we have so far :D
