SOLUTION FOR THE SEASON 3 OF 7DS DEBATE
Added 2020-10-08 15:52:44 +0000 UTCOkay, Gang, I have a solution that I think will work for the debate over whether or not to watch season 3 of 7DS:
We'll watch the first 2 seasons for now, then go to Ippo. BUT THEN, once season 4 comes out, you guys will be watching it, so when it concludes, I will post a simple poll, asking if you all would like to continue 7DS now that you've seen season 4. If the majority votes "yes" then I will install both seasons 3 and 4 at the $1 level as soon as that level is open. (Shouldn't be long, as I try to keep shorter series in there.)
This way, if season 4 ends up not being good for any reason, we didn't lose much by missing 3. In the more likely event that season 4 is good, we'll pick up with 3 and go right into 4 without you guys having to win another poll to see a season 4 reaction.
Sound fair?

Honestly the first two season of 7DS are good enough on their own that even if you never watch anything further, they're still worth it.

I am not particularly against watching 7DS, however, I have heard that the general community consensus on Season 3 was that the anime did not live up to the standards set by the first 2 seasons. The overall sentiment expressed about Season 3 by the anime community as a whole had turned me off to giving 7DS a try, however I feel that this way might be the best way to get someone new, like myself, invested into the show.

2020-10-09 12:10:04 +0000 UTCHonestly Curtis i think if you like season 1 & 2 theres no reason you shouldn't watch season 3 does the animation quality lower yes it does but it continues the story and im sure thats what youll want at that point still if you decide to watch ippo in between i have no problem with that since its what i voted for anyway

Of course the animation wasn't up to par, the studio that should have done it ditched the series. That does not take anything away from the story or characters though. Which season 3 has an abundance of. Most of season 3 looks fine. My main complaint was the censoring (and lack of censoring that baffled me at times. It's like they couldn't decide to censor or not in some scenes.)

Of course i was, but that was basically the only time it was glaring. Otherwise, while I'm sure that there were other instances of choppy animation, I couldn't give any examples for my life.
