The fight scenes in most older shows are dated. What has stood the test of time are the series hype, emotion and character. That’s why Kenshin and yuyu are still watchable. Kenshin especially deserves a remake with updated animation and actually animate the final 3rd of the manga. I just don’t know that they can grab that emotional impact again. Hunterxhunter managed it but most remake miss the Mark

Really thought Re:Zero was going to win this poll, it had a lot of support these last two anime threads. But I’m happy Hajime No Ippo FINALLY won the nomination! It’s like the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series. You’d never taught to see the day. I'm for all of them except 7ds. Its nothing specific about the show it just rubs me the wrong way. Kinda comes off like Fairy Tail where friendship is what ultimately always wins over power. If it does end up winning I'll watch everything else just might tune into that one every once in a while.

Damn. OG Dragon Ball, I can understand. Hajime, I can understand, but 7ds and Re: Zero? I just don't get how Gintama can be behind those two... 7DS had potential, but crashed like Fairy Tail. UNLIKE Fairy Tail, however, it crashed much sooner. As for Re: Zero, I think people are having their opinion swayed because it's in season... It's good, but it ain't better than Gintama, DB, or Hajime...
