In case you missed it, the dynamic between Tatsuki, Ichigo, and Orohime is like that of a married couple and child. 😂

This Arc does have some badass fights in it.

This arc isn’t that bad especially if you’ve enjoyed the series up until now. I mean cmon. It’s more bleach. At this point that’s all we could ask for. Wasn’t expecting it to live up to the Aizen arc right after it literally happened anyways 🤦🏿‍♂️ so ignore the negative comments and enjoy ✊🏿

After rewatching Bleach to get ready for the returning anime, I found that I enjoyed this arc a lot more than I did the first time around.

It's a very spicy take, but I actually quite enjoyed this arc. There are a lot of fair arguments against it, but I remember thoroughly enjoying the more personal story. My main complaint about Bleach over the years has been that I felt Ichigo became more of a walking explosion than a character after the Soul Society arc, and I always felt that this arc brings him back. Not to understate people's reasoning behind disliking it, but it's merits often get swept under the rug.

While the combat pass had had some small scenes focused on it since it was introduced, it was always played off as a (forgettable, frankly) gag. And it’s Curtis bro.

This arc...This is the poster boy of wasted potential. So many characters and plot points that get teased that could be very interesting in theory (and are in the beginning), but get glossed over and never really expanded upon (unless you go out of your way to read the Light Novels). Like, i get it’s tough trying to follow-up Aizen and the Arrancars, but it really feels at some points that Kubo is tired and/or not putting his whole soul into it (pun intended).

I'm a bit surprised you didn't think it was weird that the new guy has a Combat Pass just like Ichigo does, especially after this episode made a point of refreshing your memory on that. Pretty big thing to just kinda...miss. You doing alright?
