2020-09-06 07:52:12 +0000 UTCIt just either means other captains are stronger. Ichigo in his bankai wasn't even stronger than Byakuya naturally without the hollow helping him. Soi Fon doesn't have any feats to say she's stronger than Ichigo albiet she's already known for her speed so her keeping up with him isn't that weird. Mayuri has never been a front line fighter it's just him having prep time makes him op. Shunsui has always been considered one of the strongest captains, Hitsugaya still isn't that strong, had to 3 v 1 Harribel. Gin is stated to be a genius on a similar level to Toshiro except unlike Toshiro Gin had those 100 years of training under his belt. The only captains that are inconsistent where he's at in the story right now are Kenpachi and Tosen.

Ichigo was only stronger than the other Captains because his Bankai gave him the ability to fight at super high speeds. In Hueco Mundo, it appears that the Captains have caught up in speed. Other than speed, Ichigo had lots of Reitsu, however, that isn't required to be really strong. Kenny = Brute Strength + Reitsu Byakuya = Agility + Technique Mayuri = Drugs + Weird Shit Soiphone = Shunko + Nuke CPT Chill = OP games + swordsmanship Hitsugaya = Weather Control Tousen = Sound Atks + Sense Deprivation Gin = Power Pole + Swordsmanship
