Agree with you completely. I dislike Aizen because he's an arrogant dick. However, he's a great character and - for me - not as vile as that dirtbag, Arlong!

Aizen really does do a great job of making you hate him. Not to the level of Arlong. And maybe that's because unlike Arlong he has likeable qualities like being a badass and highly intelligent. Where as Arlong never struck me as all that smart, he was just abusing his power and befriending corrupt marines, any moron can do that. I also never seen Arlong as a badass, sure he was powerful, but his whole situation with Nami was cowardly more than anything. Bullying 2 young girls. Captain Chill fight there kinda reminds me of Russian roulette, what with the risking your life factor.

To be fair, Shunsui knew that Chad and the others were trying to save Rukia and weren't really enemies, just intruders.

Imagine if Ishida Uryuu could fire Ceros instead of regular arrows, he would be the most Over Powered character in the series. Stark is extremely intelligent and proficient at close and far combat. If he would have gone up against any other captain, then he wouldn't have lost. Shunsui's Shikai games are absurdly OP and could defeat the majority of the Espada.

Well we don't know the actual Bleach timeline what happens when, since both Karakura town and Hueco Mundo fights happen simultaneously, but we are shown them in this order..

Captain Chill's attitude here is a good contrast to how he first showed up. This is a war and Stark's a strong opponent, so Captain Chill does everything he can to kill him. Meanwhile with Chad he did everything he could to avoid fighting and even then just knocked him out.

Aizen is one of my favorite villians in all of anime. Completely unfazed by everything his opponents do, everytime he does anything, it works and someone ends up bleeding out. Arrogant? Damn right he is. But no one can say he hasn't earned the right to be arrogant. As far as I'm concerned, same deal as Madara in Naruto. His showings speak for themselves. And we've only just started.

not sure if u caught it or not, but starrk and lilinette were already arrancar befor meeting aizen, which means the didnt transform using the hogyoku so they are natural arrancar

After seeing that last game, it makes me appreciate one reason why captain chill might wear the flower kimono for more colors to call. He can shed the layers to change the damage he can do to different people.

Makes me legitimately sad that one of Starrk's last thoughts were of the other espada. They are mostly all just evil douchebags, but having any kind of companionship, even the bad kind, meant the entire world to him. The sad irony is that it meant so much that it incited genuine loyalty, evne probably knowing he was on the wrong side. Great character tbh, often not talked about in "best espada" conversations, and it's a shame.

I hesitate to even call Stark an antagonist tbh. He was just a lonely dude caught on the wrong side of a conflict he wanted no part of.

Starrk’s death is really sad. He was so powerful that he killed everthing around him, even though he did not want to. All he really wanted was to have companions, and yet he was forced to be a part of a conflict he wanted no part in. You can definitely tell that even the Soul Reapers felt bad about killing him. But yes, now it is finally time for Aizen to really show off what an evil bastard he is. And what better why then to take out the other really likeable Espada? Looking forward to seeing your reaction to what he does next, haha!

Curtis Lad you have to know by now that Aizen doesn't give a flying fuck if you are a hot big chested girl, a sickly white haired captain, his subordinate,or even a little girl that admired and adored you for most of her life. He will kill you all the same without even batting an eye. Oh lad get ready for a ride and your about to see why Aizen is considered one of the best villains in anime period. This is just the beginning of Aizen's nightmare for the Gotei 13. Shit is about to hit the fan hard

It is unfair to compare any other villain to Johan, he was so well explored and developed in the show that nobody can compare. I will also say that while i love Aizen, the author did make some mistakes with him.

Aizen ist the Worst... and at the same time the best villian i´ve ever experienced in an Anime. If you search for a Comparison on how Badass he is... maybe like Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2 :D
