This is a pattern that will continue across the series. Satan = Maou Sadao. Maou literally means "devil", with "sadao" getting close to the pronunciation of "Satan". Alciel = Ashiya, again, similar pronunciation. Emilia the Hero = Emi Yusa. "Yusa" is close to "yuusha", the Japanese word for "hero", and "Emi" is obviously just literally the first part of "Emilia".

Mao: Dude?! One of my favourite scenes from the Devil is a Part Timer Abridged, a very different take on the money exchange in this episode.
