Yeah, just to echo everyone here, this took place before the whole operation to save the world. I think that's why Okabe is still his different mild self and nobody's talking about the time machine. It's also why Professor Leskinen keeps on acting like an innocent goofball. It's pretty much a Valentine's Day special.
