It's just that, back then, the amount of cartoons we got was really limited, and Scooby-Doo ranked fairly far down on my list of what was available. :-)

For me pokemon looney toons and Scooby-Doo were my getaway shows, see whenever my mom and dad fought i was always taken to my grandparents house, which was real often, probably more than half the week I was there, and when I went there my grandma (I call her mimi) always had those 3 shows recorded for me on her vhs or when she went shopping and when she found VHS or DVDs of the shows she would buy them, and thats what we would do together, we would watch those shows or play cards. Honestly she's the person I love the most in the world and whenever I get huge anxiety attacks I always go to her place since her place is basically my safe space. Don't get me wrong I do love my parents, but my grandma will always be the most special to me, also don't worry once my parent got divorced there was no problems with em. And never got physical, only ever verbal.
