Wow, this was a REALLY fun, quirky and actually kind of emotional short series! I loved the ending, even tough it was bittersweet!

Really cool that you finished this..Honestly wouldn't mind seeing more Gainax shows on your channel, they're pretty known for doing really wacky bizarre but awesome series. For example they did Panty&Stocking and FLCL but, they're most famous anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion, really neat show from the mid 90s that ends with movie to wrap the series up. Would really love to see NGE on your channel eventually because it's such classic series...When Evangelion came out in the 90s it was such a game-changer to the world of anime and is still incredibly popular today - they sell a lot of merch because the show was so influential and widely known

All about growing up and at the same time don’t grow up too quickly enjoy your childhood. But when you do grow up don’t forget your childhood. It really gives you a message on when shit goes down deal with it. I love it when she’s like when bad things happen I’ll deal with it. If that’s not a moral to live life I don’t know what is. On a sidenote about 20 years later they did come out with two sequel shows which are good but not as good as this one. I’m moving on to another anime for the next few months but if anyone wants to have him continue I would definitely enjoy the ride.

You can look at its message about growing up and relationship,, you can enjoy the overarching plot slowly revealing the true villains (aliens), or just enjoy the music and animation that are fantastic with the comedy. Show had such a die hard fanbase that it eventually got two more seasons years and years later

He was in 5th grade basically while she was in like 11th or 12th with a relationship based on feelings from his brother not him (I love how Naota stood up for himself in episode 5). She atleast moved on from that past attachment and found something she wanted to do with that photo being in a magazine too which likely means a hopeful career at least.
