2020-10-20 23:48:11 +0000 UTCSo first off we have this masterpiece of an episode. In my opinion, this is easily one of the best episodes in any kind of media. That scene where Homura had to shoot Madoka is one of the hardest scenes to watch that I've seen. First I want to say that it was confirmed that Homura repeated this loop for about 100 times, and considering each loop is about 6 weeks, she spent nearly 12 years in this loop. Something I don't usually see people consider is that while in these loops, she's constantly stopping time for fights and preparation, so who knows how much more time was added onto those 12 years lol. Seeing this episode really changes your outlook on so many different conversations throughout the show, especially with episode 1 of the series. Fyi, the fight scene with the buildings being thrown around and shit was basically the opening scene of episode 1 when Madoka had that 'dream'. This episode also shows you why Kyoko was the only one that Homura wanted to work with. It's funny considering Kyoko seemed like a crazy bitch when she was introduced. We see here that Sayaka becomes a witch whenever she becomes a magical girl in a loop, so she's not someone Homura can rely on. We also see that once Mami learns that magical girls become witches, she losses her mind and kills everyone. So now Kyoko is the only one that Homura can trust at this point, which is pretty crazy. Also shows why Kyoko is so great :D I'll conclude this by saying it was the perfect time for you to watch ep 10 with Steins;Gate going on right now as well as all the time travel discussions lately :D. When this show finished airing in 2011, then Steins;Gate started airing, it was a great time for time travel fans lol

Gives me the chills when Mami kills Kyoko (or whatever) and than tries to kill them all and then herself so they dont inevitably become witches. But Madoka kills her to save Homura. Still wanna show this to your granddaughter Curtis ? π Just a sweet show about magical girls.
