This reminds me of that part in Yu Yu Hakusho where Yusuke goes to fight that lightning guy at the top of the tower and Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara stay at the bottom fighting a bunch of jobbers.

Ulquiorra killed Ichigo soo easly, with is bare hands. Dident even draw his sword, or released it. Ichigo havent gotten any stronger since the last time. How in the world will he beat him, He barly beat espada nr 6, lost esasly to nr 5, and now he thinks he really cant beat mr 4, hmm i dunno

The Bleach dub seems to be pretty bad. Weird translation choices everywhere and now you get a wall of Japanese at the start? At least put in some effort... Some of the VA performances are pretty decent though, so there's that at least xD

It amazes me how quickly you can get to episode 215 when skipping all the filler, you jump about 100 episodes. When watching Bleach on its initial release, it was frustrating to watch week to week since there were consistent filler arcs cutting right in the middle of the actual story. I have no problem with fillers since you get more time with the characters you enjoy but it was draining to witness all the hype die down when a filler cuts right in the middle of the story arcs’ progression. Only filler I never mind when originally broadcast was the Boobie Beach episode, which I believe is episode 228 and is coming up soon if you plan on watching it. I highly recommend that one, but other than that the amounts of filler in this show is what originally gave me a hard time enjoying the series in comparison to now, since I can just watch the canon episodes and a little bit of a nip slip episode on the side ;)

It's important to know that the English word "heart" has several meanings in Japanese. In Japanese, the word that Ulqiorra uses is 心, or "Kokoro", which means "heart","mind","core", or "soul", which is why it makes sense that he talks about finding it if he rips open her chest (heart), or if he splits open her head (mind), and that he cannot see it (soul). Whereas 心臓, or "Shinzoo" more specifically refers to the organ. Personally, I think that "soul" is the more accurate translation for that word in this case.

The filler arc that interrupted this fight was my arch enemy back then I hated it so much (even though the filler arc turned out to be one of the rare good ones) I was really pissed off when the first filler episode came. The worst about it was that we never knew how long the filler arc was going to be. 2 episodes? 50 episodes? Dont know Some scenes in the fight were already animated in a bleach game, which made me buy the game lol
