2020-07-19 19:12:33 +0000 UTCWhat a quirky trip. I don't remember the story, but I remember this being on Adult Swim and playing in the background when I had sleepovers. The art and OST are so good - so 2000s. I think the girl with the red hair was the firestarter. She has that FireStarter game the show talked about, gets bullied, worships the robot... just my guess. Bitches be crazy! I think the show's base theme eventually has a lot to do with growing up. I imagine the the horns growing out of the kid (Takun?, I'm terrible with names) are phallic for a reason. It always grows into a fucking robot when there's some sexual tension in a scene. Character here look like they approach growing up differently... some try too hard when they're kids. Some act like kids to avoid it. Needless to say, kinda loving this G100. The songs give me Japanese Beetle-esque vibes. The art on the character's expressions is so over the top but clean. And the english voice acting actually isn't cringe either! Can't wait to watch the rest of this with the gang.

You can be 18 or 80 and still relate to the show. For a show that was only six episodes long “Originally” it’s one of the best anime ever. Over 20 years old and still going strong

Mamimi is in her last year of highschool, is poor and strange so she gets bullied, and her only connection is her ex's kid bro in middle school that she gets close to and only calls him his older brothers name. To say the least its not a healthy relationship.
