I always feel like coby's epic moment here always gets tossed aside by the fact shanks 1 ups him like a second later. Like Coby rely was willing to die to stop the war and hardly anyone says anything about that lol.

The fact that TWO admirals stopped in their tracks when presented with Shanks and one of his crewmates just shows how unbelievably strong he is. Keep in mind... that one armed, red haired motherfucker holds the same title as Whitebeard. And neither he nor his crew have ANY devil fruit abilities.

Coby brought attention to the fact that the Navy soldier are human beings, too. They may seem like fodder in the context of the series, but the truth of the matter is that they are all people, with their own wants, desires, fears, and people that they care about waiting for them to come home. Some of them won't be coming home.
