A little info on the side: The Espada are ranked by Spiritual Pressure, not abilities or fighting prowess. The implications of that are always a point of discussion, but this much at least is confirmed.

I pretty much think the same thing, though I doubt Kenpachi would have much trouble with Ayon. I'd put Ayon in the weaker tiers of Captain-class maybe around Kommamura or even Ikkaku. For the most part, I don't think any of the Captains would have much trouble with him since all Ayon really has is raw power, and a lot of the Captains have hax that just slap him.

Messing with the Head Captain does indeed qualify as a poor life decision. I do wonder how strong Aillon (the chimera) actually is though. In order to manhandle multiple lieutenants like that he's gotta be at least captain-class, but on a scale from Toshiro (sorry bro) to Unohana, where does he sit? My guess would be somewhere around Kenpachi-Byakuya level. High enough that just being another captain doesn't guarantee victory but still low enough that Yamamoto would slap them. Curious to see if anyone else has input on this topic.
