The dude is 1,000 years old, he better be badass! I never understood age in the Soul Society, when you die, you go to the Soul Society. Can you die again from old age? I can understand having your soul destroyed but can they actually die from age? I think Rukia said she was hundreds of years old, in the first episode, to Ichigo.

I always find it awesome how some old men in anime can be, they might look super old and frail in one minute, and in the next, they can be complete badasses. Also Curtis the reason the reindeer head girl Arrancar with brown fur, calls Rangiku a cow because of her rather large chest. I've seen allot where small chested, or average chested for that matter, anime girls call big-chested girls cow or fat because they are jealous. so you really can't blame her for calling Rangiku that. Also, lad if you are going to perv on hot women here in bleach do it at least with girls that will not kill you the moment they see you staring at them just like those Arrancar girls. stay with the shinigami like Rangiku, Or Yoruichi. although they will punch you like they do Kon, But at least they wont kill you hehehehehe

Ofc it needed to be censored in anime so their arms turned to light. You have already seen the old man being awesomely op. He managed to incapacitate a lieutenant with only his spiritual pressure. That means he could defeat 69 fan, momo and rangiku without drawing a weapon or landing a blow. That was shown during the soul society arc when he fought his two star pupils.

Kubo uses symbolism a lot in his stories. I like he doesn't overpower his female characters out of nowhere. In Bleach female characters make up for gender differences in creative and intelligent ways, like Soi-Fon, who uses speed and assassination tactics, or Momo and Rukia, whom are advanced in Kido, or Orihime, Rangiku, Halibel, and Nel, whom all use unique weaponry or strategies to win. These three arrancar in particular symbolize something though. While individually weaker, they have the power to cultivate life, in a way that seems awfully unique to the squad of female arrancar (hmm), and that life, taking the form of Ayon, far surpasses the power of any of the other arrancar, aside from the Espadas. Definitely overshadowing the power of other arrancar at the fracciones level.

So to explain why everyone was so worried about Rangiku, in the manga Ayon had basically torn a giant hole in her and it’s one of the things that gets censored.
