An interesting thing I always like to note is the nationalities as well. Byakuya - Japanese Shamil - Russian Yakov - Russian Darya - Russian Lillian - American Connie - American It's nice because this is a very realistic roster of astronauts considering that the US, Russia, and Japan are three of the biggest space nations. This is also why Senku noted how Kohaku and Ruri clearly have foreign blood. They have blonde hair and light eyes which you wouldn't find in Japan, it would have to come from somewhere like America or Russia.
