I gotta say, even if I had hyped this arc up from before you even started One Piece, it still would have been an understatement. Just about every character in this arc is a badass (none as much as Whitebeard) and there's so many fights that I can't even remember them all despite rewatching this arc countless times. The best part? According to Oda, there's going to be an arc that makes this one look like nothing (not going to say when that arc is) so this isn't even One Piece's peak.

I love this arc because One Piece has spent a lot of time building up just how dangerous the higher level people in this world are. And now we get to see it, and it's just as cataclysmic as you'd think.

I think by the end of this arc Whitebeard is going to be the Hashirama of the series for you, that character that has only been mentioned by legend and reputation but when he shows up he quickly becomes your favorite, or at least the most respected

Good to remember that pretty much all of the Whitebeard division commanders are strong enough to be Warlords in their own right. A number of the other captains as well.

Also fun fact since they don't really say it in detail, but we've been introduced to the admiral in red before. He was first shown in nico robin's flashback as part of the buster call, he was the asshole that blew up the evacuation ship from the island because he didn't want to take a chance. They only give his name in both places so unless you recall the name it may not register that it's the same person.

I told you back when Ace and Blackbread went at it that you were starting to get an idea about what one piece strong is well now I think have the idea on how strong they are. Also no shock that the commanders are ungodly strong in there owe right. One throws a block of ice almost the size of little ores jr and the other kicks Kizaru in the wall of a fortress these people are not to be played with.

Yep this arc is an absolute hypefest, so many insane moments and pretty much every badass we've seen congregated in one place.

So Diamond Jo has the Kira Kira no mi, which allows him to turn himself into diamond. Marco has the Tori Tori no mi model: Phoenix, which as they say is a mythical zoan fruit. Something to keep in mind is that mythical zoan fruits are special because they can give you abilities similar to other types of fruit, like logia or paramecia. Also Marco is not intangible like a logia, he just heals super quickly, just in case someone was wondering.
