Mythology lesson time. The Golden Lion there, the Lion of Nemea was one of the Twelve Labours of Heracles (or Hercules as the Romans called him). This lion was supposedly impervious to all weapons. So Heracles ended up having to strangle the damn thing to death with his bare hands. After doing so he made a cloak out of it that served as a sort of impenetrable armour.

It was the talk of a future after being stuck in a infinite loop of destruction and repetition and hatred etc that got them. And sadly thats not enough, the white dragon in him halved and diminished their hatred and feelings and curses to a managable level. Its sad but most males in this show actually arent perverts :(
