On the subject of Akeno, I was expecting them to maybe throw in a joke about her enjoying her own lightning. Given her masochistic tendencies. No such luck, guess they were going for a dramatic moment this episode.

Not that they werent short in the books but it really just felt like pushing through them, having drama because its in the script but not really pacing it to be dramatic. Thats how I feel anyway. Too give credit too Akeno in the book her fight was actually fairly long but in the end she was caught off guard and hit by the enemies counter. Sairaorg seems to be using the "All my soldiers are disposable cause Im just gonna smack them all myself strategy". Truly the strategy of a chessmaster :D
