I mean sure our boy Issei is as dense as they come but it doesnt change the fact that he has been helping Rias with her problems since the beginning as she couldnt do it herself. And after all that time she spent with him she should have realized that issei most likely wont take the lead so instead of bitching about it she should have just done it herself. Plus she is obviously a bit on a slow side as well if she didnt realize that him being killed by his first girlfriend might lead to some problems.

2020-06-13 18:45:17 +0000 UTCShonen protaganists might have a higher density (haha) than other genre ones but I'd say Harem protagonists are in a leauge of their own seeing as the plot wouldnt work unless they were dense enough to not notice or understand obvious come ons and shows of affection since the show would be over too soon (in most cases). Harem protagonists are made to be the densest beings in fiction rising above even airheads!
