This arc brings forth one of many things I love about One Piece. Bringing characters back around and the wait is just long enough that you forget all about that character prior to the beginning of the arc. Then Oda is like, remember these guys? Yeah, they're back! The way Oda handles the world building and the character building in One Piece is just magnificent.

Well, I mean ...he did kill Luffy twice with almost no effort. He only survived because he got saved by Robin and then he got lucky with the water. Croco boy is very OP but his weakness is huge.

Everything Croc's voice actor says is 10/10. His voice just elevates his character further. He does everything awesomely.

After all this time, I still love Crocodile as a villain. Especially his laugh. I hope Luffy keeps a canteen full of water on him, though.. just in case.

I still really love that line that ace said while handing over his Vivre care "it's natural for a big brother to worry about his bungling younger brother" when you come back to now its Luffy that worried about him causing him to worry ace even more.

Oda regretted putting crocodile in the story as early as he did, because it made him appear weaker than he actually is.
