That exchange really sums up Marianne for me. "Aren't you worried about your son?" "What, you think I'm some kind of ideal mother?" :P Really makes me wonder what it was like to grow up with her, because clearly Lelouch cares deeply for her. But then, maybe he martyred her a bit in his memories after her 'death.'

That throws away any moral high ground you may have. He still believed he had the moral high ground until now. At this point he had given it up entirely.

He doesn't need to geass someone twice if that someone will ALWAYS follow his every order. Makes you wonder why he didn't use THAT order more often... kinda doesn't do him good, now that he's sealed away for all eternity. That scene with Lelouch walking in front of those purple flames will always stick with me as one of the most badass moments in anime.
