It shows that, in the end, even the arrancar experience human emotion, including the fear of death. Aizen preys on that. 3) Also, if you notice, the two orbs that make up Aroniero represent the two sides of the brain. One that's emotional and one that's logical, which is why Aroniero is the perfect case to show that even they fear death, because that wasn't him being a bitch. That was just the bitchy side of him being allowed to speak at the same time as his logical side.
