I love how Ivan had the same reaction as I did when I first watched this arc: "Shut the fuck up, Luffy! He's going to tambourine you!" I'm not sure if that was Luffy's hardheadedness (rubber-headedness?) or if that was his famous stupidity showing.

Lets not forget Robin, she would be the single member that could do most for the battle. She could get rid of pretty much all the small fry, keeping the important combatants fresh for longer on the pirate side.

Now that you're this far into marineford I think you can agree that it's a good thing the straw hats were separated since none of the others would have stood a chance. The only one who might have would be Zoro if he wasn't so banged up. Also, shout out to Garp who might be one of the most unsuccessful parents ever considering every person he has taken care of has switched sides.

The Navy REALLY lucked out that the guy with highly destructive lasers and light speed attacks isn’t a pirate. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kizaru gets the most leeway just off the idea of having that as a potential threat to deal with if Kizaru ever got pissed with the Navy. Because with that speed catching Kizaru in sea prism or pushing him in water just isn’t gonna happen.

I think that's how everyone feels about Kizaru. You want him to lose, but he's just so likable. Also, I have a theory, that Mihawk is Whitebeards biological son. It's based only on two things, too. 1) Eyes: From what I can tell, Mihawk and Whitebeard are the only ones to have those eyes - yellow, with the additional circle in the middle. You can't always tell, because WB's eyes are more faded now, but, sometimes, like in this episode, they show it a lot more clearly. 2) The fact that Mihawk showed particular interest in challenging WB at the start of the war, when he rarely shows interest in anything besides sword fights.
