2020-04-21 01:47:37 +0000 UTCAlso Kuroko no Basket (Kuroko's Basketball) is an absolute classic of the sports anime genre and I'm not ashamed to say that throughout watching I shed a few tears (only manly ones obviously...). It was also the first anime I was able to get my chad of a college roommate to watch, and has since gotten him hooked on anime! Really excited for you to start your sports anime journey with Haikyuu! and Hajime no Ippo and I can't wait to see where they take you!

2020-04-20 23:14:01 +0000 UTCI know you have a love of baseball Curtis, and so do I. In high school though, I didn't make the baseball team my sophomore year and got cut in the last day of try outs. I picked up Ace of Diamond, an anime about a kid fighting to become his school's ace pitcher and it got me remotivated to keep training for the next year. I made the team the next year, and though I never became the ace, my passion for the sport was reinvigorated. It's a bit of a long show and is still running to this day, but it is definitely a must-watch for baseball junkies! Hopefully one day I can sponsor it or it wins a poll to be a new show, because I think you'll love it too!

Which is a really pleasing takeaway from any kind of comedy sketch. (But also, I'm pretty sure he went to college and got some super complicated engineering degree... to then spend his life making anime videos on the internet, and I've just gotta respect that.)
