Little fun fact: Pizza Hut shows up often enough in this show that you could almost call this series an elaborate Pizza Hut commercial. Gonna be honest, it worked for me... kinda want some Pizza Hut, right now. Really wish the brand they used was Little Caesars. "Little C.C. Caesars" has a ring to it.

You don't really get to know him until season 2... but honestly, you've already seen enough. It really hit me what an asshole he was when I realized his son's FUNERAL was just another platform to make his racist, propaganda speeches.

Fair warning, you may end up conflicted about whether Lelouch is right since his father believes ALL HAIL OPPAI!

Stating through survival of the fittest and competition the country grows stronger while places like the China has people who get the same amount of wealth thus no drive to work harder. Instead of forcing equality they embrace the diffrences. Britannia is basically what could possibly happen if a government itself became capitalism and took it to the nth degree.

2020-04-13 14:09:06 +0000 UTCthis is a common storytelling method the show uses often. it likes to mix in more light hearted episodes between major events. calms in the eye of the storm. it let's it character build and give some humor to a show that's often very dark. they do a good job of putting in just enough bigger picture moments to keep you from feeling it's too separated from the main plot. often using it to introduce characters like us formally meeting the Emperor here (although we have seen him before)

So treating people the same doesnt make sense. Now personally i would go somewhere else with that idea than he does, but i think he hit the problem right on the head.

That has been shown from the start, this small interlude tells us about the personalities of a lot of the involved characters.
