2020-05-01 20:44:29 +0000 UTCI know this is kinda dark but it'll only make you hate the celestial dragons more, so I thought I'd leave this here. In the anime (and more so in the manga) it is implied that Boa and her sisters were forced to "entertain" the celestial dragons. Boa in particular was forced to eat the Love Love Fruit for "entertainment". Oda even said Boa saw men's "true nature" with a group of celestials standing over her. He was most likely implying (within the bounds of Shounen Jump's guidelines) that the sisters were probably sold to the Celestial Dragons as sex slaves at the age of 12. Given how celestial dragons like Charloss had many wives that they "grew tired of", they likely viewed them as toys for their own "entertainment". It's sickening, but definitely not out of character for the celestials not to care if they were children or even human beings and as Boa said in the episode, "take advantage of them". Sorry to bring it up, but I feel like it explains Boa's distrust of men and help further your hatred of the celestial dragons (as if you didn't hate them enough).

I almost envy it, but as soon as I see what it turned them into... Monsters that could smile and laugh while branding scared little girls. I don't care how corrupt I become, if I ever saw something like that, I'd fall into a murderous rampage. I can understand power making a person more insensitive. We're humans. We're all guilty of that to some degree, but THAT. You couldn't possibly have any humanity left in you at that point.
