You know, I find it so hard to hate most of the captains. The vast majority of them have so many likable qualities about them. Other than Gin. Gin can go suck a shart out a frog's ass. Even Brother Coochie is more likable than that acute angle grinned Kabuto-clone.

The thing about this series is that characters tend to fall into one of several categories. How the category applies to them is highly variable, and there are more, smaller categories, but these are the large ones.The first are the ones that start off as good guys (such as Orihime, Chad, or Rukia) and stay that way. The second are those that when you first meet them are assholes, but later on turn out to be okay folks (such as Uryu or Renji). Then there's the third group. The ones that when you first meet them are complete assholes, but then later on you find out they're actually complete fuckin' assholes. I'll leave it to you to find out who's in which if any of these groups.

ok i've figured it out. the reason why ichigo still hasn't foubd the right sword. it's because zangetsu is his to begin with, so he has to look within himself. therefore, to get to the real sword, ichigo has to unzip his pants

Holy shit I just figured out who killed Captain Aizen. Hanataro. He knows the underground tunnels of the soul society and can escape any situation quickly. Also, He seems sleepy because he was up at night fighting an intense battle against Aizen. Case Closed.

He did hold himself back in his fight with Ichigo. Keep in mind he kept giving Ichigo chance after chance to cut him and didn't take him seriously until the very end. But in these fights, he's kept his guard up, stayed focused. Also, Ichigo in that moment was beyond most captains in terms of pure spiritual pressure. When he was using Zengetsu's power, 'fighting alongside him'. It was only a short term boost in power, but it was a massive boost.

Whether intentionally or unconsciously, it looks like Kenpachi held himself back in his fight with Ichigo. Either that or he’s the spirit of a saiyan Freiza killed and gets a massive power boost every time he survives a fatal experience

Gin can definitely be a complete asshole, but in some ways I do like his sinister aura if you will

Gin lying about saving Rukia honestly is probably one of the more awful things a characters done in the show, giving her a moments illusion of hope before her execution, really makes you hate the guy even more, also Kenpachi's bloodlust for battle is pretty contagious lol, he's so straightforward and honest, it's obvious komamaru was discriminated against for being a dog man but Kenpachi just doesn't care lol, all that matters to him is if he can fight.
