So we see that blondie, 69, Renji, and momo were all strong enough to become Lieutenant. Gin also was a Lieutenant but became a captain. The most surprising is that little white hair who wasnt even in the school at the time became a captain before all the school students even before 69 who was a 6th year. Kinda hints at how strong he must have become in a short time.

Clark Kent was a badass, really too bad he is gone. Seems like a good guy, would probably understand Ichigo's motives, maybe even help him. Who knows. RIP.

We flash back to Aizen and I still miss his iconic voice by Hayami Shô. Even if his role is short, he delivers such a soothing performance with the way he talks to Momo as Aizen. His performance as Ichiya in Fairy Tail may be even better, though ;P

Bleach has a lot of characters, but I really like how the soul reapers are explored this arc. Even if they aren't main characters we still get to see their individual personalities, and relationships with each other

It is worth pointing out that the job momo had as Aizens lieutenant was once held by Gin or fox-face. So whatever happened to cause Aizen to distrust Gin must be major.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Bleach does their flashback episodes pretty well. They're never as fun as the main story, but they are important all the same. And of course, it ends up enhancing the main story. But Bleach has a pretty good balance. This flashback purpose isn't meant to reveal any secrets or give clues to the current mysteries so don't worry. You didn't miss anything in that context. They're just fleshing out some of the characters and showing that Momo has admired Aizen (Clark Kent) for quite some time and further driving in the point that he was someone important to her.
